Happy March Art Friends!
☘️March is one of my favorite months of the year! Spring brings in the green hills in Niles, we start to have some warmer weather and it’s my birthday month! Did you know that I launched the business on my birthday (March 11) 2 years ago?! Incredibly proud and grateful for how far this little family owned business has come in just 2 years. We couldn’t do it without all of the continued support from this community! To help celebrate we’re hosting a FREE March Pop-up celebrating the 2nd Birthday of Janine Pitta Art on Saturday, March 9 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm! We’ll have a fun art project to create, some new pottery for sale and there will be cake! Come stop on by and see what’s new at the studio and help me celebrate!
☀️Summer Camps are now live on the website and we already have friends signing up! We have new Themes for the 5 weeks of camp with all new projects. Camp still runs Monday - Friday from 9-12. We had so much fun last summer and I still get comments that Art Camp was their child’s favorite camp of the summer!
On a side note - my memories popped up that a year ago, I bought a wheel and 2 kilns - wild to think that I now have 3 wheels and am finishing up the 2nd session of Adult Ceramics classes! We are having so much fun playing with mud and learning both hand building and wheel throwing techniques. So many people are discovering that YOU are worth this time in learning how to create - it helps our stress levels and JOY-levels to create! Art is not just for kids!! I hope you take the time for yourself and join me in creating - it is so very important!

Here’s what is coming up for March and April:
- FREE 2nd Birthday Pop-up is Saturday, March 9 from 1-4 pm! Come help me celebrate the business turning 2! Help spread the word and tell your friends!
- After School Art Classes at the studio are running the current session until 3/19 and 3/22. Our last session before summer begins will be on Mondays and Fridays and begins the week of April 8th!
- Little Apples art classes start the next session on March 7
- Adult Ceramics class begins the 3rd session on March 10th! We are having so much fun playing with mud and learning both hand building and wheel throwing. So many people are discovering that YOU are worth this time in learning how to create - it helps our stress levels and JOY-levels to create! Art is not just for kids!!
- Adult Art Night is March 30th from 6-7:30 pm - we’re creating again with polymer clay!
- No classes at the Studio from March 25 - April 5th for Spring Break!
- April 6th - Niles Farmers Market from 9:00 am - 1:oo pm!
- April Pop-up is April 13 from 10-1 - We’ll be creating Earth Day Art
- Adult Art Night April 20th from 6-7:30 pm - project to be determined 🙂
- Fremont Creates Gala - April 27th from 11-3 - I’m helping run the Maker Space! This is a fun FREE event! Food trucks, entertainment and more!
