🌀 Happy October Art Friends! 🎃

What a great September we had at the studio! Loved seeing kids back in the studio for our after school classes as well as adults for our fabulous clay pumpkin art night. So much more coming up as we enter October and I’m looking forward to spreading more creativity in the community! 

This week starts the next round of kid after school art classes and we have both Thursday and Friday options. I’m looking forward to seeing you at the studio soon!

Here’s what is coming up for October:

After School Classes from 3:30-4:30 (Thursdays and Fridays beginning October 3)

1.) Thursdays - October 3 - November 7, 2024 (No class 10/31)

2.) Fridays - October 4 - November 8, 2024 (No class 11/1)

*Art Bus option available to add-on for pick up at Niles School (I pick up kids at the front of school and we walk to the studio together. Snack and supervision provided before class begins at 3:30)

- FREE Kid Art Project at the Centerville Library on October 2 from 3:30 - 4:30 - Look for the sign up online on Centerville Library’s website!

- October’s Pop-up is October 19th - We’ll be creating a Halloween Project and the Maker Space will also be open. Pottery will be for sale as well. 

- Adult Art Night is October 26  from 6-7:30 pm - We’re going to be painting plaster skulls for Day of the Dead - this is a super fun medium to explore (fresco painting).

- Adult Ceramics Class begins the 8th session on October 13th!  Come play in the mud with me and learn both hand building and wheel throwing techniques. YOU are worth this time to create - it helps our stress levels and JOY-levels! Art is not just for kids!! (Ask me about partial scholarships)                                 

** Open Studio time available to students that have been through the Adult Ceramics class!
